I basically have 2 non-consecutive hours to work today. I just spent the better part of one taking notes. From about 1:30-2:30 I will sit down to write 500 more words. I have a baby sitter tonight–I am going to dedicate one hour of that time to taking more notes. All this material is just insanity.
Then tomorrow is sort of home-free: I will just edit together the roughly 2,000 words I wrote this week quickly in the morning and then send it off before I go to work.

Only got 227 words. Ran out of notes. Maybe if I take some more notes this evening I can fit in 250 words before I start editing tomorrow.

Did NOT spend one hour note taking on sources. I spent 18 minutes merging photos into documents and naming them while listening to music. Good news is that all the docs I’ll work with in this chapter are organized, which means I can make a plan for prioritizing which documents to read and write about next week–whatever doesn’t make the cut will just not be in this draft, or maybe any draft! But GOOD ENOUGH!
